Hi, I'm Kendra.
I am a movement/portrait photographer based in Toronto, Canada. I was born and raised here but took a quick detour to Pittsburgh, PA where I went to Point Park University to get my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance. Take a look at my alternate website for further insight into that aspect of my life!
I started taking photographs at a very young age. I come from a family who loves photography. I grew up with stacks of photo albums in every room of the house. My father spent some time living in Saudi Arabia and started a Polaroid business there for passer-buyers in search of Mecca. My Uncle, who passed away in 2015, was an outstanding landscape photographer. He would go on amazing adventures with my aunt, would come back with thousands of photos, and have a story for each one. Their passion and teachings were what inspired me to pursue photography as a career.
As for me, I started learning about photography first from my family then took some photography courses throughout my time at university, but I am mostly self-taught. I am so lucky that I get to call this my job. Here is my portfolio if you would like to check out some of my work. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. Get in touch with me here!
